This card is so cute.  The colors and images are great for any occasion, invitation, or recipient.

The monkey and vine are from my Create a Critter cartridge.  The super cute bananas are from the Eyelet Outlet.  This card can also be seen on my guest post on their blog.  All the papers are DCWV.

Lookin' good

This layout is so much fun.  I love it when I catch the boys smiling.

The raccoons from the Woodland Animal set from the Eyelet Outlet are great accents for this page.  I like the one peeking from the tree in the photo.

This layout can also be seen on my guest post on the Eyelet Outlet Blog.  I also used DCWV and Thickers.

MY cellphone

My son was so proud to show off his cellphone, on his 'belt,' just like Mommy.  He even 'charged' it on his train bridge.  Kids are so fun.

This layout is mostly Cloud9 with some touches of Fancy Pants, Stickles and Marvy Gel Excel pens.

My CJ's last pages

For 3 1/2 years I have been involved in a post card circle journal.  I finally received my finished book.  It is so touching to see all the work everyone did and all the different styles we have.

As originally planned, I made 2 more pages to finish out my book.  They show how my life, and style have grown over time.  All the pages I made for everyone's book have the same elements.

This is the left page with our family and a post card.

It flips down to show another postcard. I had to include this one because the boys love driving over the 'fancy' bridge.

This is the right page.

It shows where we live, plus all the people and companies that are relevant to the area.

Here is the opening page I made for the book many years ago.  You can see we have lost a bunny but added a son since then.

And this is the first details page I made.  I like the current ones much better.

My how things have changed.

Grandparent's Day Cricut Blog hop w/ Erica's Craft Room

Hi everyone!  I hope you are enjoying hopping along and checking out all the awesome Grandparent's Day projects that were created using the Cricut.

My project is a layout showcasing 4 generations.  This picture was taken earlier this week during a fun visit.  I titled it "It's all because 2 people fell in love."

I used 4 different cartridges on this layout.  That wasn't planned, but it's fun since the picture has 4 generations of people.  'Stone Script' for the word LOVE, 'Cake Seasonal Sampler' for the double hearts, 'Jubilee' for the words fell in, and 'Plantin Schoolbook' for the 2 and heart strip at the top.

The word LOVE is raised with EK Success 3D dots.  The large double heart is hooked onto the E.  The small set of double hearts is also raised above the O.  I really like all the dimension that creates and it emphasizes what is the most important, love.

This layout also has DCWV papers, alphas from Thickers and Lily Bee Design, brads and Prisma color pencil and marker.

The Grand Prize for this hop is sponsored by Erica at Erica's Craft RoomOne person will win
a $25 Gift Certificate to be used in her store!  To be eligible to win the prize you MUST leave a comment

Circling fun

I had the best picture for a circle theme.  Thanks to TinkerToys, one kid said he had binoculars while the other told me he was wearing sunglasses.  Either way, I always smile when I see this.

Momenta's PA-2330, PA-2328 paper, PA-1124 cardstock and ST-2154, ST-4713 stickers were great for this playful layout. I also used brads, a MC Gill circle punch and the Martha Stewart circle cutter.

Birthday Drink Tags

For today, I made drink name tags for the guests at party for my grandfather's 85th birthday. Adjustable twine goes through the eyelets on each side allowing the tags to be transferable and fit on any size/type of drink.

All the tags have the same colors of Momenta cardstock, Diamond Stickles

and die cuts from the 'Something to Celebrate' cartridge,

that I used on the placemat and banner that was posted on day 3 of this blog hop.

Here are all 16 tags, ready to party.

The papers I used are from Momenta's PA-2376 Pastel cardstock, PA-2375 Bright cardstock, PA-1411 Silver Distress papers.

Happy Birthday

I made a banner and placemat for my grandfather's upcoming 85th birthday party.

I used Momenta's cardstock from PA-2376 Pastel, PA-2375 Bright and PA-1411 Silver Distress papers to make all the parts of the banner.  They are connected with fishing line.

The balloons are from the 'Something to Celebrate' cartridge.  Each letter was cut with Cricut's 'Opposites Attract' cartridge

and has a star accent,

with some Diamond Stickles bling,

a party themed brad from the Eyelet Outlet,

streamers,

and eyelets on each side,

to help connect all the pieces on the banner.

The placemat is just for my grandfather to since it's his birthday.  The main paper is from Momenta's PA-1991 'All Through The Year' stack.  Then I used the Cricut's 'Something to Celebrate' cartridge to make all the party themed die-cuts in the corners.  An EK Success punch goes around the outside with some Diamond Stickles in between all the stars.

Now you know people are going to turn over the placemat to look at the back.  We all do it, we're nosy.  So for a fun surprise I used Momenta's PA-1305 Wild Animal paper.  It's a fun, upbeat and the colors match the other items for the party.  I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised.

Stay tuned for something else I made for the party too.
