D-Lite Feature

Hi.  Today I am part of the second D-Lite Feature on the Momenta Blog.  This is the project I have on there today:

I used Momenta Paper pads PA-2330, PA-2331 and PA-0925 for the tag.  I also used Stampin Up, Recollections, Rubber Stampede, Jubilee cartridge, ribbon and glitter glue.

I love seeing how everyone uses the same products in different ways.  Please stop by and see everyone's awesome creations.

Future crafter

My older son asked nicely for some train stickers, so I bought them.  The next day he was still asking if he could use them and I agreed.  We got some paper

then I showed him how to apply the stickers.

He put them all on the paper himself.

And wha -la!

Like mother, like son. I'm so proud.

Bananas

In the morning, my youngest will ask for "monkey 'nana."  This translates to "eat a banana like a monkey."

I had a lot of fun making this layout.  The monkeys are from the Animal Kingdom cartridge.  I used the negative of the banana shape and ink to mask the other bananas on the page.  The ribbon and brads are some of my stash favorites too.  I found them both at Michael's.

Momenta card

Here is a really cute, fun card I made with the Momenta Super Pad (PA-2330) and American Crafts ribbon.

I fussy cut out the monkey in the hot air balloon and the sun with clouds.  Then I arranged them on the card.  The ribbon is like a banner flying from the balloon saying "hi."  I think this is a really good card for kids to give or receive.

Focused Boys

I always liked this photo.  But I didn't want to scrap it until I found the Angry Birds ribbon at Michael's.  It's perfect!

I made sure to include 3 stars and the dots (like I did here) that follow the birds in the actual game.  Since I didn't have all the correct letters for the title, I adjusted an 8 for the S and a 3 for the E.

I'm really happy with how this turned out.

My space

As you know, I've been organizing everything the past week or so.  A lot of this started when our neighbor gave us some bookshelves.  It really helped with all of our books and toys that are in the loft.

I was able to put all my scrapbooks together, out for everyone to see, for the first time in years.  It feels really good.  Plus, I saw all the books that needed labels, so I did that too.

With all the scrapbooks out of my main scrap space, I was able to shift things around a bit.  I also added some more current photos of our family.

This turned out really nice and was worth all the work.  Now I can't wait to use my space.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today is my favorite day of the whole year!  It's green, irish and boozy.

Over the past week I have been doing the yearly maintenance on my books.  I go through and make sure all the photos from the previous year are printed, captions added, and the book has it's tag.  I plan to be finished and scrapping again soon.

I hope you all have a fun, safe, green filled day!

keep truckin'

I seem to be scrapping a lot of trucks lately.  Here is my younger son playing with some in our stone driveway.

I really liked how many products and types of truck I was able to utilize on this layout.  Stampin' Up! stamps, Recollection stickers, Eyelet Outlet brads, 'B is for Boy' cartridge, Stickles, deco scissors, Fancy Pants, DCWV papers all came together to have my son and his toys come to life.

Dump trucks

Our driveway is currently made stones and that is perfect for little boys and dump trucks.

It felt really good to make this, especially since I used to many different things.  I love how it all came together.  I can't wait to make more.

Paper (Paper Studio, Debbie Mumm), brads (Eyelet Outlet), Stickles (Yellow, Chipped Sapphire), stickers (Reminisce, Recollections, Momenta), vellum (DCWV), and the Cricut (B is for Boy, Graphically Speaking).

CJ with Momenta papers

First of all I'm happy to announce this is my 100th post!  Yey!

Ok, now...

I am part of a circle journal.  The journal is sent to everyone and we each add our pages.  I just finished my pages of this journal.  Under one of the postcards is images and a list of all the things that originated here.

The Momenta 'Family Outings' paper pad looks great on it.  All the patterns accent each other and the postcards wonderfully.  I can't wait to use this combination again.
